Match me!

How do I find great love today? And what happens after the first date? The relationship concepts are diverse and some people feel a bit overwhelmed in the jungle of possibilities. The cinema documentary “Match Me!” humorously and with a sense of absurd nuances follows three singles who put their love and happiness in the hands of “matchmakers”. Marriage mediation is interpreted in a modern way, so to speak. But can a stranger actually decide better who is right for me?

“Match Me!” is very close to its protagonists, accompanies them for over a year and a half through emotional ups and downs, and lets the crackling of impending love relationships feel immediately. The documentary by Lia Jaspers (screenplay “You drive me crazy”) was a crowd favorite at doK.fest Munich 2015 and thrilled audiences at the film festivals in Leipzig, Helsinki, Linz, and Sheffield. A lifelike view of love in modern times that makes you want something new.
